Salman Khan’s ‘Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai’ opening in time for Eid

ONE of the most awaited Bollywood trailers – that of Indian Superstar Salman Khan’s ‘Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai’ released yesterday (Thursday) creating quite a buzz on social media among fans of the iconic actor. ‘Radhe’, a Hindi-language action film, was slated for its release last year on the occasion of Eid but the Coronavirus pandemic and the resulting lockdown pushed back the opening. The film follows the dreaded gangster ‘Gani Bhai,’ and ACP Rajveer Shikawat also known as Radhe who goes on a manhunt to find the wealthiest man of the town secretly running a crime syndicate. The film, also starring other big names in Bollywood like Disha Patani, Randeep Hooda and Jackie Shroff, is directed by Prabhu Deva and produced by Salman Khan, Sohail Khan and Atul Agnihotri. According to The Indian Express, ‘Radhe’ is the first Hindi film to simultaneously release on multiple platforms. The highly-anticipated movie will release in theatres on May 13 as well as on ZEE5’s pay per view medium ZeePlex on the same day.

“The makers of the Salman Khan starrer have unveiled a new poster of the film and it is sure to get you all excited for the film. In the poster, a zoomed picture of Salman shows him pointing a gun. The picture reminds us of his look in ‘Wanted,’” the publication said.
Besides this, the Indian media outlet said the movie will also be available for the audience on various DTH services, including the likes of Dish, D2H, Tata Sky and Airtel Digital TV, thereby giving the viewers a chance to watch the actioner on any platform of their choice.
Khan, 55, has dished out several high profile and award-winning films in the Indian movie industry including those like Maine Pyar Kiya, Saajan, Suryavanshi, Hum Aapke Hain Koun, Karan Arjun, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Hum Saath-Saath Hain, Dabangg, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, and Ek Tha Tiger.
Meanwhile, Disha made her Hindi debut in the sports biopic M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story opposite the late Sushant Singh Rajput and featured in other films like Baaghi 2, Bharat and Malang.
