MARTIN Blair, 23, of 578 ‘D’ Field, Sophia, Georgetown is wanted by the Guyana Police Force for questioning in relation to the murder of Daniel Boutrin at ‘D’ Field, Sophia, Georgetown. The 23-year-old man died at the Georgetown Public Hospital on Monday, two days after he was stabbed during an argument with Blair, who is his brother-in-law. According to the police report, Boutrin and his brother-in-law got into an argument over a bicycle Boutrin borrowed last year and subsequently lost. As the argument escalated, the suspect picked up a cutlass while Boutrin armed himself with a knife.
Police said the suspect’s parents intervened and asked Boutrin to leave. As he was about to enter a taxi, he was confronted by the suspect who stabbed him several times.
