MINISTER of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Hugh Todd, on Thursday, met with Secretary-General of the Commonwealth, Patricia Scotland, in a bilateral meeting held virtually on the margins of the 75th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).
Among mutual areas of interest, they discussed the upcoming Commonwealth Foreign Affairs Ministers Meeting (CFAMM), oil and gas, the 26th United Nations Climate Change
Conference (COP26) and support for small states in light of COVID-19.
Guyana has been a member of the Commonwealth since 1966 and remains committed to the Commonwealth, its Charter, and sister organisations.
