RICHARD Singh, of Dairy, West Bank Demerara, and Michael Elliot accused of simple larceny, were, on Wednesday, August 19, 2020, sentenced to 6 months in prison by Magistrate Delon Bess.

Singh and Elliot, on Wednesday, August 19, 2020, appeared before Magistrate Delon Bess at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court and pleaded guilty to the charge, when it was read to them.
Particulars of the charge stated that, on Thursday, August 13, 2020, at Lamaha Street, Georgetown, both Singh and Elliot stole one 100-pound gas cylinder valued at $50,000, property of Colette Ramalho.
