AFTER being on the run from the Customs Anti-Narcotics Unit (CANU) for almost two years, 44-year-old boat captain, Farook Baksh, called ‘Dive and Shoot’, is finally in custody for trafficking $110M worth of cocaine and cannabis.

Baksh was arrested at his Mon Repos, East Coast Demerara home, on Friday, June 12, by police who received a ‘tip-off’. He was then handed over to CANU and an investigation is ongoing.
He is expected to be arraigned at the Sparendaam Magistrate’s Court for the offence.
