ATTORNEY GENERAL and Minister of Legal Affairs, Basil Williams, brought smiles to the faces of several senior citizens residing along the East Coast Demerara corridor, on Saturday last.

Minister Williams, on behalf of His Excellency President David Granger and the People’s National Congress Reform (PNCR), visited and distributed Christmas hampers to several senior citizens, residing between the villages of Plaisance and North Haslington, inclusive.

Minister Williams reminded the beneficiaries that it was the festive season which was associated with giving, and he was most delighted to personally honour the senior citizens with the tokens.

The Christmas hampers were well received by all of the recipients. Minister Williams will continue his hamper distribution exercise today in the other villages along the East Coast Demerara.
