SEVERAL persons were injured on Friday afternoon after a route 43 minibus toppled and crashed into the bushes at Long Creek on the Soesdyke-Linden Highway following a tire blowout.
According to reports, sometime after 14:00hrs today, the minibus bearing registration, BWW8829, was heading to the city when it suffered a blow-out.
The driver of the bus lost control of the vehicle and it veered into the bushes.
Members of a football team were on board the minibus and they sustained various injuries, none of which was said to be life threatening.
Police are investigating the accident.
