IN the recent past, many may have noticed that local artistes are raising the bar with their quality of music, and Melissa “Vanilla” Roberts is high on top of that list.
She has proven herself a force to be reckoned with following her most recent hit song, “One Voice”, a song which speaks to unity of the Guyanese people.

Vanilla feels that her success is all thanks to her fans, and come January 25, 2020, she will be giving back to them through her ‘Breakfast with Vanilla’ project where four lucky fans will be treated to a date with the Guyanese songstress at Kosmos Grill and Lounge.

In a press release sent out by her team, Vanilla stated that the venture will allow her fans to be part of her world, by affording them an opportunity to connect with her to learn a little of what she has been up to lately, especially in the world of film and music, and to let them know that there are opportunities right here in Guyana within the arts industry, if they work hard for what they want.

Melissa “Vanilla” Roberts shot to fame back in 2005 with her single, ‘Koc It Up’ and ‘54321’ which featured Ice under the Kotion Rythym Medley video attached to Kross Kolor Records label and continues this day. Fast forward to 2019, she has released five songs, is all set to release new music videos for her singles “Goodie Goodie” and “Lang Time”. As the 2020 Mashramni season approaches, she is asking that her fans stay tuned!
