SENIOR MAGISTRATE Leron Daly, on Friday October 25, 2019, ordered a man to pay $30,000 fine or serve six weeks’ imprisonment for stealing.

Edward Rollins appeared at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court and pleaded guilty to the charge when it was read to him.

Particulars of the charge stated that, on October 19, 2019, at Bent Street and Louisa Row, he stole a vinolay valued at $30,000, property of Ester Crawford.

“I take the thing and go and sell it” Rollins stated.
Magistrate Daly ordered that Rollins pay a fine of $30,000 or serve six weeks in prison.
