A 23-year-old resident of Essequibo was arraigned before Magistrate Sherdel Marcus-Isaacs on Monday, September 16, 2019, at the Georgetown magistrates’ court, for break and entry.

Inbal Sheobalis denied that, on September 13, 2019, he broke and entered the shop of Marcello Jeffery and stole 30 bottles of five-year-old El Dorado rum, 10 packs of Bristol Cigarettes, one case of excel energy drink, 20 bottles of banks beer, one case of I-cee drink and $10,000 cash, the total value being $51,200.

Bail was refused and the matter was transferred to the Bartica Magistrates’ court on September 18, 2019.
