CMC – GUYANA-BORN business executive, Anthony Whyte, says the decision by Canadian Business and Maclean to rank his company, GO Logistics Inc. in the top 500 fastest growing companies here “reflects the vote of confidence our customers have given us”.

The company has been ranked 277 on the 30th Annual Growth 500, after making the 2019 Growth 500 list in the special print issue of Canadian Business published with Maclean’s magazine, after having a five-year revenue growth of 304 per cent.

“The companies on the 2019 Growth 500 are truly remarkable. Demonstrating foresight, innovation and smart management, their stories serve as a primer for how to build a successful entrepreneurial business today,” said Beth Fraser, Growth 500 programme manager.

Whyte said that GO Logistics Inc. built its operations centred on “the final mile of home delivery”, a space where the big players are restrictive when it comes to package dimensions they cater to.

“That’s where we come in. We work to understand their inventory, seamlessly moving packages from mid-mile to final mile. Our processes encompass sortation, next day, and same day delivery services, trimming home delivery to within a few hours,” he said.

“We have the partnership of warehouse and cross-dock locations across Canada, ensuring national coverage. In 2017, we collaborated with the country’s biggest e-commerce player to launch their first third party Canadian sortation centre, consistently rating among their top performing North American sortation centres.” added Whyte.

He said being a smaller player compared to others in the home delivery space has opened a number of opportunities that would otherwise not have presented themselves.
“We remain committed to growing in stride with our customers, preparing them to face the new decade – bigger, better and more confident in their home delivery offering.

The Growth 500 selection is a testament to the trust they have put in us.” GO Logistics Inc. was registered in April 2005 and the company has grown to over 1,000 employees offering services across Canada.
