PROPRIETOR of Extreme Tech, Antonio Singh, has praised detectives attached to G Division for promptly apprehending two suspects who are allegedly linked to a burglary committed on his business.

Singh related that, between July 12 and 13, robbers stole in excess of $3 million in cellphones and cell phone accessories from his business. He said no one was arrested; however, he had to provide his customers with new phones to keep his business going.
Cops in Essequibo, in two separate cordon searches, arrested two suspects who are presently in custody. They were allegedly involved in a burglary at the cellphone stall in Anna Regina Market.

According to a release, sometime between 15:01 and 15:50 hours Tuesday last and 05:00 hours and 05:30 hours on Wednesday, a party of policemen conducted a search at the home of a 26-year-old man of Bush Lot, Region Two.

During the search, eight cell phones, four phone chargers, one phone battery, one earpiece and a Rone Drone was found. Four of the phones were identified by Antonio Singh. At another search conducted at a home in Richmond Housing Scheme, one Samsung Galaxy S10 plus was found in the possession of a 21-year-old occupant. The two suspects are scheduled for court tomorrow.
