Former West Indies team manager Ricky Skerritt is the new president of Cricket West Indies (CWI).

The Barbados Nation News is reporting that the announcement was made in Jamaica earlier his afternoon and Skerritt was declared victorious over incumbent Dave Cameron by 8-4 votes.

The result means that Cameron’s six year reign comes to an end and Dr Kishore Shallow will now become the vice-president.
