LEADING dance troupe in Region Two, Kandhiya, is all set to perform at the “Prem Leela 2” show on March 2, at the Anna Regina Multilateral Secondary School auditorium.

According to dance teacher and owner of the dance troupe, Ravindra Deowattie, the night is all about dances and drama titled ‘Piya Moore.’
Speaking about the play story, he said the Prem Leela 2 is based on a Hindu and Muslim village Mohinjo Daro that was having a religious conflict.

After years of fighting, Prince Saleem and Princess Swaragini, took up the challenge to bring peace within the villages. They wanted to see Muslim and Hindus live in harmony and peace.
During the struggle, the Prince and Princess met where they fell in love and fought to be together, despite the village conflict and religious background. They were also married in the end and ruled the three kingdoms where they unite the people.

Show time is slated for 18:30 hours and tickets are adults $800 and children $400. The play has 41 scenes and 20 dances, including include folk, classical and Bollywood.
