A HUSBAND and wife were among three persons who were arrested following the discovery of a quantity of cannabis by law enforcement officers at a house in Golden Grove, East Bank Demerara.

Reports indicate that the discovery was made by members of the Police Narcotics Branch after they swooped down on a house at Block “Y” Golden Grove, EBE on Thursday.

During the search, ranks found 29 grams of cocaine along with 990 grams of cannabis. An investigation has since been launched.
