A 21-year-old Linden man died after he was allegedly stabbed during a confrontation with two men on Friday night.

Dead is  Leonard ‘Lenny’ Peters of Lot 29 West Watooka, Wismar, Linden.

Reports are that there was a social event on Friday night at Lot 6, West Watooka and at the event, a misunderstanding developed between the victim and two men around 22:00hrs.

It is alleged that the victim accidentally spilled alcohol on one of the two suspects and this subsequently resulted in a physical confrontation.

Peters who was observed bleeding from a wound in the left side chest, was rushed to the Linden Hospital Complex where he died shortly after whilst receiving medical attention.

The suspects , who are known by the aliases ‘Giddie’ and ‘Gaza’ are being sought by the police.
