FIVE hundred and one soldiers have been rewarded with monetary incentives for their outstanding performance for the year 2018.

Chief of Staff, Brigadier Patrick West presented the incentives to some of the soldiers recently at the Force’s Annual Incentive Ceremony, which was held at the auditorium, Base Camp Ayanganna.

This is the largest batch of soldiers to receive incentives and Brigadier West challenged the ranks to remain on the list of recipients, telling them, “do not allow any other soldier to displace you. Keep working hard.”

The incentive ceremony is a way in which the Force rewards outstanding ranks, a system which Brigadier West has pledged to continue. “You are being rewarded because you have given exemplary service during the year and your superiors have found you worthy of recognition,” the chief of staff asserted.

Brigadier West also reminded ranks that as the Christmas season unfolds, it is incumbent upon them to remain diligent, watchful and accountable for the assets placed under their charge.
