BUSINESSMAN Retesh Singh of Bardon Construction Services on Monday donated 100 traffic cones to the Guyana Police Force.

The donation was received by Deputy Commissioner (Operations) Maxine Graham and Traffic Chief, Superintendent Linden Isles at the Forces’ Transport Department, Police Headquarters, Eve Leary.

Singh, who is an ardent supporter of law enforcement initiatives, recently donated 50 traffic cones to ‘D’ Division Commander, Senior Superintendent Edmond Cooper, who has since been using same in front of several schools to avoid congestion.

The businessman said he took the opportunity to donate the cones because of the approaching holiday season and the expected spike in traffic congestion during the period.
Both Graham and Isles applauded and thanked the donor for his timely donation of the much-needed equipment.
