Mark Vieira (RX8) and Andrew King (RX7) are set to lock horns for the Caribbean Group 4 title

AN all-out war is what is expected when the flag drops for group four action on November 10 and 11 at the South Dakota Circuit.
The Guyana Motor Racing and Sports Club (GMR&SC) stages the Ignite race meet, which will be the final leg of the Seaboard Marine Caribbean Motor Racing Championship (CMRC) and the two veterans are the front runners for the class.

At the Caribbean level, Vieira leads with 95 points after two rounds of action. Two firsts and a second place finish for Vieira in Trinidad, coupled with one first, one second and one DNF result in Barbados, habe him ahead of the pack.
He has 95 points while King has 67 points (one third, one fourth and one DNF in Trinidad) and one first, a third and a DNF in Barbados.

CAMS driver Quinlan Lall is the only real threat that the duo face, as he has 62 points from one round. His car is expected for the meet as well.
However, Vieira will have to contend with Kristian Jeffrey who. while he does not have a chance at the championship, can make the battle closer than it needs to be.

Throw in Mark Maloney from Barbados and Faizool Madan and the Audi TT that holds the lap record here and there is bound to be an epic battle that will come down to the wire.

On the local scene, only one round has been completed so far with Vieira leading again with 61 points to King’s 50. While this battle is closer, Vieira’s form on the local scene has been red hot and it will take a clean sweep from Andrew to change the titles.

The November race meet will feature groups 1-4 action as well as CHOKE Starlet Cup, Miracle Optical Street Tuner, Sports Tuner and both CMRC and local Superstocks race as well as a 125cc lightweight class and a street cross class.
