A TWELVE-member jury was on Monday empanelled to sit in on the murder trial of Delon Abrams called “Roachie” who stands indicted for the January 6, 2014 death of former cop, Seburn Elias, in the county of Demerara.
The trial will commence on Wednesday before Justice Sandil Kissoon and the state is expected to present 25 witnesses.
Upon the presentation of the indictment, the accused Delon Abrams pleaded not guilty and was represented by defence attorney Lyndon Amsterdam who was holding for Maxwell McKay.
The state is being represented by Abigail Gibbs and Mandel Moore.
