FIVE masked men robbed three Chinese nationals of cash and electronics on Sunday at their Sheriff Street, Georgetown residence.

Reports are that the victims, who live in a three-storey concrete building, arrived home around midday in a silver-grey motorcar and upon entering the yard were confronted by the gunmen.

Three of the men, who were armed with handguns, took their quarry into the house where they kept guard over them in the lower flat.

As though on cue, the two other accomplices proceeded to ransack the house, taking whatever suited their fancy, before turning their attention to the occupants, whom they relieved of their valuables.

When they were satisfied, the robbers fled the scene.
The police were subsequently summoned and an investigation is underway.
