GUYANESE Lennox Braithwaite and Ransford Goodluck are already Down Under and getting primed for what is expected to be stern competition at Gold Coast 2018, which will take place at the Belmont Shooting Complex in Australia.
The pair left Guyana last Friday and arrived over the weekend. They wasted little time in getting in much needed practice ahead of the competition which has two components, Pairs and Individuals.
Guyana National Rifle Association (GuyanaNRA) Fullbore captain Mahendra Persaud was originally part of the team but unfortunately fell ill during January and is currently recuperating in the USA. With Persaud not being able to attend, Goodluck was drafted into the team.
Official practice is set for April 5 with the first match (Pairs) on April 9. The first stage of the Individual competition is on April 11.
