THE Guyana Chronicle last week erroneously reported that the wife of the lead player of the Surinamese Parbo Brass Band, Ricardo Wip is a Guyanese. Mr Wip has since clarified that his wife is Surinamese and expressed his regret that our reporter came to such a conclusion that she is Guyanese, without enquiring from him. The Guyana Chronicle sincerely apologises to Mr and Mrs Wip for the discomfort this erroneous information would have caused their family.
