ORLANDO Alexander has very good reason to be wearing a $2M smile this holiday season, having won the coveted grand prize in the latest Sol Guyana Inc. promotion.

The atmosphere at the recently-refurbished Shell Ogle Service Station was charged with excitement as the winner was announced, to applauses from service station management and staff, and representatives of Sol Guyana Inc., the licensed operator of Shell Service Stations.

Shell Sales Executive, Renee Armstrong-Joseph said it had been a mutually exciting and rewarding promotion for Sol Guyana and customers of Shell Fuels, including V-Power, Shell FuelSave and Shell Diesel.

“Sol Guyana believes in giving back to the loyal customers, and particularly at Christmas when we know that customers really appreciate valuable cash prizes,” Armstrong-Joseph said, adding:

“That’s why we know that the Grand Prize of G$2M will ensure that this very deserving customer enjoys a very Merry Christmas.”
Several other winners who won weekly cash prizes totalling $150,000 will also be smiling their way through the festive season, in addition to those customers presented with prizes of free Shell FuelSave and LPG.

The just reopened Shell Ogle Service Station was especially welcoming with an upgraded and redesigned RVI (Retail Visual Identity), rebranded as RVI Evolution.
Armstrong-Joseph said the refreshed and modernised RVI-accentuated Shell Ogle has a more welcoming and friendly environs, facilitating improved forecourt communication and more effective delivery or marketing or informational messages to customers.

At the grand-prize drawing, Alexander’s name was pulled from among the other thousands of entries by a ‘Shell Model’. Alexander purchased his fuel at Low’s Service Station on Vlissingen Road.
