THIS weekend has quite a variety of events if you decide you don’t want to stay cooped up at home and need to get out and get your buzz on. For the soca lovers, the Hurricane Relief Concert on Saturday night is looking like it’s going to be a pretty big one so that just might be the thing for you to set your weekend off just nice. The best part about it is that you will be supporting a wonderful cause, as proceeds from the concert will be going to hurricane-ravaged islands in need of aid.

You could also check out the retro night event at The Vintage, also on Saturday night.
Earlier on Saturday there will the two-day fitness expo in Georgetown. Or if you don’t mind the trip up the East Bank, there are some heated races going on at the South Dakota Circuit. Both events will be held on Saturday and Sunday.
In another heated battle, this time on Sunday night, some of the country’s top DJ’s are going to be battling for a spot in next year’s DJ competition “The Armageddon”. So that’s sure to be a rocking event.

The signature event of the GMR&SC calendar, which marks the final leg of the Caribbean Motor Racing Championships (CMRC), will see racers from across 9 countries take to the track in heated rivalry!
