AFTER sharing the dressing room with senior members of the Guyana Jaguars team for the first two rounds in this edition of Cricket West Indies (CWI) Professional Cricket League (PCL) four-day tournament, the promising Akshaya Persaud has been replaced for this week’s third round.
Information reaching Chronicle Sport indicates that Persaud has made way for Shivnarine Chanderpaul, a veteran of 164 Tests.
The Jaguars will play the Leeward Islands Hurricanes at the Sir Vivian Richards Cricket Ground, Antigua
The three-time reigning champions rattled off their second straight win in the championship when they defeated Windward Islands Volcanoes by seven wickets inside three days last Saturday. That victory followed up their first round win over the Jamaica Scorpions.
