SCORES of persons benefited from an Open Day activity hosted by the Mahaica, Mahaicony, Abary -Agricultural Development Authority (MMA-ADA) at its at Onverwagt, West Coast Berbice, headquarters on Friday last.
The programme included presentations by leading officials of the MMA/ADA and an exhibition of agricultural products and livestock by various agricultural agencies and farmers in Region Five (Mahaica-Berbice).
Attendees took advantage of the free distribution of fruit trees by the MMA/ADA, while the Region Five Education Department was gifted with a several pieces of agricultural equipment to be utilised by the secondary schools.
