God’s Cathedral of Praise, Lamaha Park, Georgetown, on Tuesday made yet another donation of mobility products to seniors with disability in a retirement home in the city.
This time around, it was the donation of a wheelchair, strollers, a bathroom chair and cane to the National Veterans’ Rest Home at the Joint Services Housing Scheme, Lamaha Springs.

Leader of the church, Bishop Timothy Norton, presented the items to administrator Nekayah Smith, in the presence of typist/store clerk, Lynette Cambridge at the Veterans’ Home.
The administrator expressed gratitude to the church on behalf of the rest home, noting that such items will be very useful for affected persons at the home.
Bishop Norton also presented a quantity of booklets with biblical readings – for every member of the home.

The items were donated with the intention of assisting in enhancing the clients’ mobility and making them less dependent on caregivers.
