OVER 40 competitors have been registered so far for Sunday’s Caribbean Invasion Drag race meet according to the Guyana Motor Racing and Sports Club.
With the deadline for registration approaching, the club is asking those competitors who have not registered to do so by today as there will be no late registration.
“We want to thank all those who have registered thus far for the Caribbean Invasion drag race meet. We have in excess of 40 competitors thus far and we are expecting more today.”
Meanwhile the club will close the drag strip to vehicular traffic from 06:00hrs – 18:00hrs today, tomorrow and Sunday for the event.
“There will be an official free practice today from noon to allow for the test and tune.”
Sunday morning’s event begins at 09:00hrs.
