A 62-YEAR-OLD Timehri man was on Tuesday charged with assault, causing actual bodily harm.

Sukdeo Mahadeo, of Hyde Park Timehri, appeared before Magistrate Sunil Scarce for causing bodily harm to Anil Khan.

It is alleged that on June 25, 2017 at Timehri, East Bank Demerara, Mahadeo unlawfully and maliciously wounded Khan. The 62-year-old was represented by Attorney-at-law Paul Fung-A-Fat and pleaded not guilty to the charge. He was placed on 70,000 bail and is expected to return to court on July 11, 2017.
