Georgetown Grand Prix took centre stage last night

GUYANA’S top drivers were in action last evening when GT Motorsports hosted the second edition of the Georgetown Grand Prix at the Guyana Motor Racing and Sports Club (GMR&SC).
The first set of races were decided on fastest qualifying time on Thursday evening while the second set of the evening featured an inverted 50% grid, currently employed by the Formula 4 series.
For the third race of the evening, the grid was decided by the second fastest times done in qualification.
In the Sunburst 60cc Kids Cup, Jeremy Ten Pow started the first race on pole while Mikhail Persaud drove to pole in the 125cc junior class and Denzel Hopkinson pole in the senior class.
In the Easy Cup Four-stroke Division, Raymond Baksh started on pole while Steven Vieira and Raymond Seebarran took the light and heavy classes respectively.
