AS the countdown to Mashramani 2017 kicks into full gear, on Wednesday scores of vendors flocked to the Department of Culture’s Main Street Office to secure their vending spots. In a release the department said as part of continued public consultations, the vendors had an opportunity to air their concerns relevant to Mashramani activities. During the consultation with Minister Nicolette Henry in the Culture Department Compound, the vendors offered suggestions and generally expressed support for the events. The meeting quelled many of the vendors’ concerns as regards to the National event.
Those gathered following the interaction ultimately expressed support for the Mashramani plans. The registration process started on Wednesday and will conclude on February 14.
