The Guyana Chronicle has taken note of a fake headline attached to an earlier story we had carried regarding the acquittal of jeweler Sanjay Persaud being circulated on social media.
The author of this post removed the original headline of our story” Sanjay’s owner freed of dangerous driving charge” and imposed: “Sanjay’s owner pardoned of causing death charge”
In an attempt to give credence to their devious plot the architect of the post placed a photograph of President David Granger and Mr Persaud to create the impression that the pardon was done by the head of state. Guyana Chronicle condemns this wicked act and again distances itself from the fake post. Click link for original story.
