THE Guyana Police Force is seeking assistance in identifying a man known as ‘Dougla’ who was allegedly beaten to death on December 23, at Iguana Creek, Cuyuni, Region Seven.According to reports, the man whose formal name is not yet known succumbed to the injuries inflicted and was pronounced dead at the Bartica Public Hospital.

The body of the man said to be from Pomeroon-Supenaam (Region Two) is at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home and Crematorium.

Reports indicate that the man was in the company of others drinking when a fight broke out following an argument. One person is in police custody assisting with investigation.
