CHILDREN of the Region Seven communities of Baramita, Bartica, Itaballi and Imbaimadai recently benefitted from the good cheer of the Guyana Police Force, compliments of its ‘F’ Division.In a statement to the media, the Force said that in an effort to spread Christmas cheer in remote communities, approximately 850 children from the identified areas were treated to Christmas parties. “The youths were treated to games, singing of Christmas carols and scrumptious meals,” the statement said.
The activities were organised by Divisional Commander, Senior Superintendent Ravindradat Budhram, and his ranks.
“The intention was to reach out to youths in far-flung areas, letting them know that the Police Force cares for their well-being, especially during this festive season,” the Guyana Police Force has stated.
