This week, Guyana joined with the rest of the Caribbean to observe CARICOM Day, in recognition of the regional trade and integration bloc founded in 1973. Last Friday, students of IBE, a private school on the East Coast, with branches at Lusignan and Enmore, decided to showcase the cultures of the Caribbean. The students, from various classes, were asked to pick the name of a country out of a bag, and then they designed costumes and prepared foods representing those countries. Photographer Delano Williams visited the school and shared these photos.
