TWENTY – seven – year old Andel Solomon was yesterday sentenced to three years imprisonment and fined $2.7M after he was found guilty by city Magistrate Ann McLennan for the possession of cannabis.Solomon of Yarrowkabra, Kuru Kuru, Soesdyke-Linden Highway was charged on April 14 after he was found with 1000 grams of marijuana at Kuru Kuru, Soesdyke.
In her submission, the magistrate stated that the prosecution in its presentation to the court, made out a case against the defendant, whereby they proved that he had full control and possession of the drug when he was intercepted by the police.
