Praises for Indentureship Exehibition

Dear Editor,

I HAVE been a volunteer teacher at the Mercy Hospital School of Nursing for the last 14 years for a few months a year.I often take my students and always my guests to the museum. However, the most important and moving exhibit has not been on display for maybe a decade and that was the history of slavery and indentured servants. Even after all these years I can still see the manumission papers, whips, etc… I do not know how such an important part of the history of the country can be hidden. I would hope that the Museum would present it again.
