Finding your perfect fit

OVER the past months, I have been seeing numerous posts on social media concerning women and their tastes in swimwear. We’re all faced with the same issues from time to time: Finding the perfect swimsuit; wondering why we could never find a bikini with the proper fit; mixing and matching. Nothing ever seems to work!
US-based Guyanese international designer, Roger Gary is a ‘pro’ when it comes to swimwear.
I thought it was the perfect time to get the fashion guru himself  to ‘dish’ on what he thinks works best for different body types. It’s like having our very own swimwear stylist.
‘Aqua Couture’ is a line of swimwear created by Roger Gary for the woman who wants to stand out on the beach, at pool party, or while on holiday. Enjoy!

**Pear:
Depending on your level of confidence, you can try a bandeau top. Make sure the bottoms fit well; there’s nothing worse than getting a size too small.Pear

**Straight:
This type of figure is usually naturally slim or quite athletic, so get playful in your favourite little number. A one-shoulder maillot with cut out detail will wow any crowd. Over-the-shoulder styles can help to create the illusion of a fuller bust. You can also play around with more adventurous styles, boy-shorts and crop tops.Straight

**Hourglass
Women lucky enough to have this body shape are completely blessed, and find it quite easy to fit into any swimwear. Any style looks great. I’d say a classic triangle top and tie-side bottom will always flaunt this figure to the max.Hourglass

**Apple:
Go for something that fully covers your upper body, especially the stomach area, as well as a supportive style that gives you comfort like this one-piece high-neck with soft cups and adjustable straps. (Photos by Delano Williams) Apple
