DEORAM Persaud of Belmont, Mahaica East Coast Demerara was killed in an accident that occurred at Kairuni, Linden-Soesdyke Highway on Sunday at about 14:55 hrs, after he lost control of the motor cycle he was driving and fell off the machine.A police release said the 39-year-old was riding at a fast rate and was not wearing a safety helmet at the time he lost control of the vehicle and died tragically.

He was rushed to the Linden Hospital for the injuries he had sustained, but was pronounced dead on arrival there.

Investigations into the accident are in progress.
