A GUYANESE and two Brazilians were arrested on Sunday, March 6, 2016 in Region Nine (Upper Takutu-Upper Essequibo) following a raid by ranks of the Guyana Police Force (GPF) where a quantity of narcotics were found.A press release stated that the officers conducted a search on a house in St. Ignatius, Lethem in Region Nine. As a result of this exercise a quantity of one kilogram 610 grams of marijuana was unearthed.
The three men were arrested and are presently in police custody assisting with investigations.
