WINNING three gold medals at three straight Olympic Games would be his greatest achievement, says 100 and 200m world record holder Usain Bolt. The 29-year-old star athlete won three gold medals in each of the last Olympic Games in Beijing in 2008 and London in 2012. On each occasion he won the 100m, 200m and was a member of Jamaica’s gold medal-winning 4×100 metres relay team.
In London, he became the first man to defend all three titles and adding a third triple would be another significant achievement for the charismatic Jamaican.
“I have had a great career so far but I want to keep winning medals,” Bolt said.
“As I always say, I never focus on any one individual. I respect all my opponents but I know if I am fit and healthy that I will be very hard to beat.” (Sportsmax.com)
