Just Call Me Boss wins feature at RSTC

JUST Call Me Boss of the Jagdeo Racing Stable galloped to a comfortable win in the feature D and Lower race last Sunday at the Rising Sun Turf Club (RSTC). With jockey Nicholas Patrick in control, the animal held off a stiff competition from Diplomatic Cat and Spit Fire to win the $70 000 and the Banks DIH trophy.
The day, however, belonged to Red Region of the D Baker Stable. The animal won both the L and K class races.
Price Gold and Settling Star from the Shariff Racing Stable won the E and Lower and G and Lower races respectively.
Quiet Storm of the Mohabir Racing Stable won the H2 and Lower race. Affinity won the J and Lower race.
The champion stable on show was the Shariff stable with Colin Ross the top jockey on show. Red Region was adjudged the top horse.
Dubbed the Mohammed ‘Nankoo’ Shariff Memorial Horse Race meet, the event was held in collaboration with the Inshan Bacchus Service and Mining Company and Banks DIH Limited.
