MELBOURNE, Australia – Captain Jason Holder believes West Indies can turn things around when they face Australia in the second Test match at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, staring tomorrow.First ball on Saturday is 10:30hrs (19:30hrs, Friday Eastern Caribbean Time/18:30hrs JamaicaTime).
The visitors lost the first match in Hobart, but are confident of better showing at the iconic venue, where a large crowd is expected for the match.
“It’s a very special occasion. I remember walking on the field for the first time when we got here in Melbourne, it was a really nice feeling. This is a fantastic place to play cricket, and a chance to do something really special,” Holder said.
“It’s one of those events on the international sporting calendar which many people look forward to. We’re all up for it. It’s a wonderful opportunity for this young team and hopefully we go well,” said the West Indies skipper.
