City Magistrate Faith McGusty yesterday sentenced Vickey Sufficl to ten months’ imprisonment after he was found guilty of larceny.On Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at Main Street in front of Palm Court he stole from Bretia Shilds, one cellphone valued $30,000.
The facts that were presented in court stated that the virtual complainant was in front of the night club taking a smoke when the defendant came up to him and demanded all he had.
In fear, Shilds dropped the phone. Then the defendant tried to make good his escape but he was apprehended by the police in the area after an alarm was raised.
He was later detained by the police and informed of the allegation and charged. After making several appearances before the magistrate he was sentenced yesterday.
