GREGORY ‘Jackie Chan’ Richardson was named the STAG Elite League/COURTS Player-of-the-Month for the month of October. The Guyana Football Federation (GFF), in a release, stated that the Pele Football Club forward copped 205 of the 325 votes which came from fans through Text Message and Social Media.
Alpha United’s Delon Lanferman, who was shortlisted with Richardson for the award, gathered 120 votes.
It was Richardson’s second award, after winning the first in September. With nine goals apiece, Richardson and Lanferman are tied in the race for the league’s Highest Goalscorer award.
Apart from the $25 000 voucher from COURTS, Richardson will receive $10 000, compliments of German’s Restaurant.
