Three teenagers remanded on break and enter and larceny charge

THREE teenagers were refused bail when they appeared in the New Amsterdam Magistrates’ Court accused of stealing a washing machine and other items from a dwelling house in the town.Nokosia Leitch, 17, of Lot 12 Mount Sinai; Winston Lewis, 17, of Angoy’s Avenue; and Marlon Deon, 18, of Charles Place, were not required to plead to the joint charge of break and enter and larceny when they appeared before Magistrate Marissa Mittleholzer.
Particulars of the offence state that on July 21 last, at Charles Place, they broke and entered the dwelling house of Andrew Scipio and stole a washing machine, a fan, a DVD player, a blender, a pair of speakers, a mattress and a bet sheet, all valued at $131,500.
The unrepresented men are expected to return to court on August 17 for statements and fixture.
