A 335-year-old motorist is now warded at the Male Surgical Ward of the Georgetown Public Hospital in a critical condition, after being involved in an accident somewhere on the East Coast Demerara Railway Embankment on Thursday night.
Unable to properly communicate verbally, on account of injuries sustained to his mouth and teeth, he gave his name only as Ameer, of Princes Street, Wortmanville.
Ameer is nursing severe head injuries as well as injuries to his neck, face and collar bone.
With faint recollections of what had occurred that night, he could only recall that he was returning to Georgetown from the East Coast of Demerara, when he lost control of the car and crashed into a “wall.”
He was picked up bleeding and in an unconscious state and rushed to the Accident and Emergency Unit of the Georgetown Public Hospital.
