THE Guyana Police Force has issued a Wanted Bulletin for Freeman Fordyce, for questioning in relation to investigations into the attempted murder and abduction of Devon Chung which occurred on June 26, 2015 at D’Urban Street and Vlissengen Road, Georgetown. Anyone with information that may lead to the arrest of Freeman Fordyce is asked to contact the Police on telephone numbers 225-6411, 225-8196, 226-7065, 227-1149, 911 or the nearest police station.

The Police assured that all information will be treated with strict confidence.

Particulars of the wanted man are as follows:
• Name: Freeman Fordyce
• Date of Birth: 1976-09-21
• Ethnic Origin: African
• Last known address: Lot 271 South Ruimveldt Gardens, Georgetown.
In the bizarre June 26 abduction, 37 year-old carwash owner Devon Chung of Lot 142 Guyhoc Park, was shot in the chest and back at around 19:10 hrs, allegedly by two men who had abducted him from his wash bay at D’Urban Street and Vlissengen Road.

The men then reportedly dumped Chung in Plum Park, Sophia, after abandoning their vehicle, which ended up in a trench.

It is understood that in March this year, Fordyce was among three persons taken before a city court to answer charges of the alleged abduction and unlawful confinement of a woman.
