A MAN of Lot 25 George and Princes Street, Georgetown, yesterday broke down in tears before Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry after answering to a damage to property charge. Anthony Forde pleaded not guilty to the charge that said on February 18 at Georgetown, he unlawfully and maliciously damaged a front window and a tyre of motorcar HC 3636, together valued $45,000, property of Cecil George.
No objection to self-bail was raised by Police Prosecutor Bharat Mangru and the matter was transferred before Magistrate Annette Singh for June 17.
